My Favourite Make Up Products – June 2019

I love these products and the results that come with them. I enjoy that they don’t cost an arm and a leg and that they all lend well to each other.

I’ll start out with saying, I don’t wear cosmetics every day because I don’t feel any need to on a daily basis, but I do truly love wearing it. My mother taught me to wear make up to enhance what you have, and these products down below do that very well. This article consists of my staple products that I could not live without. I’m not a fan of spending the big bucks on cosmetics, but with fairly sensitive skin I’ve found some drug store products do cause me some discomfort and breakouts, so most of the products are middle of the line in cost and quality.

My Favourite White Liner

NYX White Eye Liner

This NYX liner was under the 10 dollar mark, as you can see, mine has been used a lot. I’ve found it really opens my eyes, especially when I’m groggy and tired looking.

My Go To Blush

Tarte Blush in Feisty

This formula is very buildable and blend-able which is good, because I tend to be very heavy handed, so a more sheer blush has been my favourite. This particular shade is more of a coral colour, which works well for me but this shade won’t work for everyone.

My Buildable Highlighter

Morphe – High Impact Highlighter in Spark

This highlighter is once again a buildable base that doesn’t hit too heavy with it’s bronze and gold tones that look lovely on my winter skin (which is incredibly pale) as well as my summer tanned face.

The Ultimate Cat Eye Liner

Eyeko – Skinny Liquid Liner in Black

This little guy packs a lot of pigment. Sleek black inky formula with a skinny tip, perfect for cat eyes. This liquid liner is so easy to use even I can nail a cat eye on the first try.

Pack On The Powder

Covergirl – Loose Powder in 105 (Translucent)

Loose powder is a strange product. You waste as much as you use every time you apply (or at least I do), so I don’t like spending a fortune on it. This guy was under 15 dollars and applies great with a brush or wet beauty blender.

Endless Lashes

Make Up Forever – Excessive Lash

This is the newest addition to my love list of products. Coming in at 28 dollars it is also the priciest. This formula is very buildable for ladies who like to do many thin layers for long, stiff lashes. I’ve yet to wind up with clumpy lashes or spider legs hanging from my eyes with it, though it is sometimes a little difficult to remove (and this isn’t the water proof formula).

Ready SET Face

Nyx Matte Finish Setting Spray

If you love Urban Decays All Night Setting spray but hate the price tag, this is the spray for you. It really sets my face with zero effort on my part. What more could you want?

Cover Me Up

Sephora 10 HR Wear Oil Free in 22 (Light)

I’ve never had a foundation that sets so perfectly into my face. With combination skin I’ve had a mirriad of issues with different formulas that would flake or look incredibly oily on my face, but this one has a nice satin to matte finish and it blends beautifully with a brush, sponge or your fingers, though it is quick drying, so blend quick.

I love these products and the results that come with them. I enjoy that they don’t cost an arm and a leg and that they all lend well to each other. It’s a very casual look when they are used without any shadows or lipsticks, but one I enjoy.
